Gabriella Robles was born and raised in New York. She studied for her AFA in photography at Delaware College of Art & Design, and her BFA in photography at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.

Common themes in Gabriella's work deals with self discovery and femininity. As a self portraitist, it is an inner necessity to understand the dimensional world she lives in and how she interacts in it. Interpretations range through mediums of sculpture, video, sound, writing and primarily photography. Through the process of compositing, re-appropriation, recording, and impulse writing and drawing, she creates visual interpretations of alluring and provocative imagery combining the physical world and the alternate reality she views within it.

Gabriella has been featured in both print and online and has shown in a variety of exhibitions. She has been exhibited at the Delaware Museum Of Natural History in 2011, at the Thirteenth Annual Pingyao International Photography Festival in China, in 2013; most recently,  apart of group exhibition at Latela Art Gallery in Washington D.C., in March, 2016, as well as being published internationally in photo book, One Life: Stories Told Through Photography.

Gabriella embraces all forms of creating, and is open to artistic collaborations.
